Spring & Fall Property Cleanup Checklist
The shoulder seasons are the best time to reset a property before summer activity or winter weather adds another layer of work.
Spring
- Pick up branches and winter debris.
- Clear litter from perimeter and parking areas.
- Check gutters and downspouts from safe access points.
- Reset outdoor furniture and storage areas.
- Identify fence, gate, siding and exterior-hardware issues for follow-up.
Fall
- Collect heavy leaf accumulation.
- Clear leaves from paved areas and drainage paths.
- Remove dead annual vegetation and ordinary yard debris.
- Store or secure loose outdoor items.
- Prepare snow-storage areas before the first major storm.
Commercial properties
- Clean customer entrances and sidewalks.
- Review dumpster and service areas.
- Schedule exterior washing before freezing weather when appropriate.
- Confirm snow-service trigger, contacts and priority areas.
