Spring & Fall Property Cleanup Checklist

The shoulder seasons are the best time to reset a property before summer activity or winter weather adds another layer of work.

Spring

  • Pick up branches and winter debris.
  • Clear litter from perimeter and parking areas.
  • Check gutters and downspouts from safe access points.
  • Reset outdoor furniture and storage areas.
  • Identify fence, gate, siding and exterior-hardware issues for follow-up.

Fall

  • Collect heavy leaf accumulation.
  • Clear leaves from paved areas and drainage paths.
  • Remove dead annual vegetation and ordinary yard debris.
  • Store or secure loose outdoor items.
  • Prepare snow-storage areas before the first major storm.

Commercial properties

  • Clean customer entrances and sidewalks.
  • Review dumpster and service areas.
  • Schedule exterior washing before freezing weather when appropriate.
  • Confirm snow-service trigger, contacts and priority areas.
